A Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) or Job Safety Analysis (JSA) can be conducted for all tasks & activities in the worksite, whether the job task is specific or Non-Specific.
To decide which jobs task or activity should be analyzed first, review the physical job injury and illness reports. A Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) or Job Safety Analysis (JSA) should be carried out first for jobs with the extremely risky and highest rates of disabling injuries and illnesses.
Also, workplace jobs or tasks where near misses have happened should be prioritized. Ultimately, A Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) or Job Safety Analysis (JSA) should be carried out and easily available to employees for all jobs in the worksite projects.
