HSE COVID-19 Daily Inspection Checklist

COVID-19 Compliance-Office 

  1. Are employees actively practising social distancing with a minimal distance of 1.5 m from other staff?
  2. Are Office Notice boards kept up to date with COVID-19 information?
  3. Our hand hygiene posters posted in the washroom/office toilet facilities.
  4. Our daily cleaning logs maintained for the office, kitchen, toilet?
  5. Have tables, counter tops keyboards, mouse, copiers & printers been disinfected today?
  6. Are hand sanitizers replenished and filled daily?
  7. Do washrooms have sufficient soap available for the day’s use?
  8. Are sufficient paper towels available for hand drying in the washrooms?
  9. Are sufficient paper towels available for hand drying in the kitchen?
  10. Have commonly used surfaces been cleaned e.g. door handles, handrails etc.?
  11. Have employee body temperatures been recorded?
  12. Are there sufficient numbers of face masks available in the office for workers who have developed a cough and sneeze?

Worksite Toilet,  washroom Ablutions

  • Our hand hygiene posters posted in the washroom/toilet facilities.
  • Our daily cleaning logs maintained for the washroom/ablutions?
  • Do washrooms have sufficient soap available for the day’s use?
  • Are sufficient paper towels available for hand drying in the washrooms?
  • Is washroom main access door left open to limit touching.  
  • Are all extractor fans observed functional?
  • Has daily intensified disinfecting of ablutions been carried out?
  • Are paper towels available in (Prayer Washing facilities) locations?

Areas where Workers Congregate

  • Have rest areas been clean and maintained daily.
  • Are tables and chairs are cleaned and disinfected before and after use (Daily).
  • Are workers actively practising social distancing with a minimal distance of 1.5 m when possible?
  • Our daily cleaning logs maintained in rest and canteen areas?
  • Are notice boards kept up to date with COVID-19 information?
  • Are scaffold & Staircase handrails disinfected regularly throughout the day?
  • Have tower Crane, Mobile Crane, Mobile Equipment, cradles and hoist operator instruments been cleaned and disinfected at shift changes.
  • Is bus disinfecting being carried out before and after having workers use the buses?
  • Is there sufficient PPE available for first-aiders /Male nurse to perform their duties.
  • Has induction training been minimized to 10 workers at a time with sufficient social distancing compliance?
